I recently downloaded Sims 3 Late Night ep to my mac, and when I try and play it comes up with an 'unknown error occurred' popup before the launcher even loads. This has happened before with the Late Night ep and I remember just uninstalling it to fix the problem, but now I can't find the Late Night file anywhere. It's not in applications, it's not in the Sims 3 file, it doesn't even show up when I search for it in finder, or when I open the Sims 3 uninstaller. I've tried to show hidden files but that doesn't work. I have absolutely no idea where it's gone.
Help!
I have macOS Mojave

@mimi6e You could install Late Night manually, if you wanted. But the easier fix for the unknown error is to just create an alias (icon) for LN in Applications\The Sims 3, alongside the alias for the base game. This is simple:

Please also run the Super Patch (digital download version) if you haven't already. The launcher doesn't always do a thorough job of patching on its own.
