Sims 3 - Expansion & Store Download Content Help

★ Novice
I installed the sims 3 town life to my base game awhile ago. My game launcher didn't load after that. So I tried loading without the launcher by copying the info.plist file and changing "Sims3Launcher"part of the writing to "TS3" my game loads but I need to know how to check what expansion packs are on my game as it says that some may not be installed anymore. How do I check? Also how do I download from the Sims 3 store content? Lastly, if any expansion packs are gone do I need to reinstall them?
Thanks.

Are you using a Mac or Windows PC?

Open the Launcher, the Expansion and Stuff Packs the game is recognising should be shown at the bottom of the launcher window. Greyed out means they are not installed.

The best thing would be to uninstall any you don't think have installed properly then reinstall them. Try using the Uninstaller first then manually delete the residual files. Instructions here - http://bluebellflora.com/manually-uninstalling-an-expansion-or-stuff-pack-in-the-sims-3-for-mac/

The problem is that the launcher won't open. I tried everything and the launcher just won't open.

Ok. Can you try installing the 1.67 patch again? The link is in my signature below. If that doesn't work then I would completely uninstall and start again. Make sure you get rid of the residual files the uninstaller leaves behind as just one still in place can interfere with a new reinstall.
