Sims 3- Can't download my purchased content

I downloaded some content over the last few years on Sims 3 (romanza, roaring heights for a few examples) but we recently updated our mac to El Captain IOS and i had to redownload all my games. Then, my downloaded content had uninstalled as well. I redownloaded what I could, but everything I purchased from the sims store says that the installation has failed because my game doesn't have the correct updates. But my game IS up to date. Does anyone know if its possible to get my content back?
