Sim4 quit unexpectedly on Macbook pro

When I try to open my Sims 4 the screen flickers black and crashes. 😔 A message after pops up and say sims 4 quit unexpectedly. I have tried re installing it and it doesn't work. Also I have a Mac book pro, worked on my windows laptop but not on the pro.
