Sim's queue is not working correctly

Hi guys, 

Something strange has happened with a sim I have recently created - his queue is not displaying correctly, the icons for each action are stacking up on top of each other and not placing themselves correctly as things for him to do are added. 

Has anyone else had this problem and can you advise how you can fix it? I thought restarting the game would help but it doesn't appear to have - I'm not aware, at the moment, if any other families are affected by it...

Do you use any Mods? Specifically UI ones?

@Bluebellflora No, none - I like to leave my game exactly as-is. I gave the game a repair and that seems to have sorted it now...
