Shiny / Checkered Sims

Random sims show up with a shiny / checkered texture in my game. Both my Mac and Sims game are up to date. I’ve searched the forum and found a (closed) thread on how to fix it. I removed all my mods and CC, deleted the file (forgot the name), repaired the game and then checked my CC in batches of around 50 files. I managed to find the culprit and deleted it. On the website where I got it, it was mentioned in the comments that the CC is glitchy with the new patch.

Game worked just fine after I deleted the CC, the sims’ textures returned to normal. That was last night. I played again today and it still looked normal. Then I left to do something else, but left the game open on my mac. When I returned the textures were suddenly back. Out of nowhere, in the middle of the game

Can anyone help? It took me hours to find the faulty CC, I don’t want to do it all over again. And also it worked just fine when I tested it

Do you have CC back in your game? Is it certain outfits?

hey!

if you put your cc back in, remove it all again (yeah it's a pain) and make sure everything is updated before you put it back.

if you still have this issue without any cc, set your sim detail settings to very high.
