SIMS4 freezing on my Mac 2020

Hey - can anyone help??

I got a new MAC recently and have since downloaded origin and Sims4.

Each time I try to play it will freeze and I have to completely restart my Mac each time.

I have tried on every graphics setting and it still freezes - anyone know what I could try?

I am new to using Mac’s so have to bare with me for the technical side of stuff🤣

I have a 2019 Macbook Pro. Was playing the game this morning fine and now it keeps freezing up on me as well. No custom content installed.
