SIMS 4 NOT WORKING AFTER UPDATE [ Edited ]

Sims 4 suddenly won't work on Mac after recent update.. 

I can't load saved games, I can't download lots from Gallery, I purchased a new expansion pack and that worked for the first few hours, even though build mode was glitchy, now it doesn't load the game. 

Basically I can go in and go to any world I chose, but if I choose a household to play, it shows me a half empty lot, no sim, no sim information.

It's really irritating, don't want to have to uninstall!!!

Repair the game - right click on it in your Origin games library and select Repair.
