Running on a Mac - The Sims 4 - won't launch

Nothing has changed, other than I downloaded two cc files. Program ran fine yesterday. I keep trying to launch it tonight and it won't launch. I have repaired it, tried launching fron my Launchpad, but nothing happens.

This is my system -

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15 inch, Mid 2015

macOS Catalina 10.15.4

Processor 2.2 Ghz Quad-Core Intel

Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR

Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

Have you tried it without the CC?
