Round Objects Not Loading Properly

[ Edited ]
★★★★★ Novice

Hi!

I play the Sims 4 and in the past month or so I've noticed that my round build/buy objects are not rendering properly. I don't know why this happened and I don't know when it started -- could have been awhile ago. It's really bugging me so any help would be great! I play on a Macbook Pro and the game is fully updated. I tried removing my mods and it didn't fix it. I attached a picture for reference. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

@ptmuggie

Could you update Catalina via System Preferences. Current version is 10.15.6.

Try playing around with your in-game settings. Raise them to Medium and enable Edge Smoothing. Make sure to not go too high as your Mac graphics are not very powerful.

That's...... weird!

Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so and what to provide here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612...

Could you also please add a screenshot of your in-game graphics options.

Can you move your Mods folder to the desktop, trash the localthumbcache.package file and then load the game and see if it still happens?

Hi!

I tried to take out my mods and delete the file. No change Frown

Also, I forgot to mention: as I zoom into the objects, they get rounder but I have to get VERY close to make them round.

My Mac is as follows:

Version: 10.15.3 (19D76)

Model: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)

Processor: 3.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5

Memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB

I attached my graphics option. Thank you for helping out!

That worked! I had to increase my objects graphics to medium. Thank you so much!
