Refund for sims 4 DU

I recently(TODAY)  purchased sims 4 DU on my mac, after doing some research I discovered that I cannot play it on Legacy.  I'm trying to get a refund but it's saying I can't and tech support isn't available even though it's within the hours of business please help what should I do?

You need to contact customer support to get a refund although packs are not normally covered by the refund process. The requirements for DU clearly state a Metal supported Mac is required

Hi my daughter has made the same mistake. 

Did you get anywhere with this?

Just wondering if it is worth chasing a refund or will I just be wasting my time.
