Reedem product code is grey and I cant select it.

I am trying to get the " Cats and dogs " expansion pack for Sims 4. The first step is to redeem product code from the dropdown menu from the games tab, at the top left. I can see the "redeem product code" tab but it is grey and I can' t select it. I think it could be because I am offline, but I am having problems getting online, even though I am connected to wifi, it also says that I need the newest update to get online, or something. It starts updating but stops half way. Please help. Thanks. ( I am using a MacBook Air )

Yes you need to be online, let's see if we can fix it for you.

If you have any antivirus/firewall running can you please disable it for now, then run the Origin reset tool and try again.
