Have you moved your Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop and launched a brand new clean game to see if the game works?

Here is some more info about my iMac
I tried playing with and without the legacy edition, both do not work. I don't have an anti virus program running. And i also don't use CC/mods

hi, I was able to get the sims to work on a different user account on the mac. Does that mean I just can't play it on my account any more?
