Did you ever get this fixed? I’m having the same problem on my Mac after I bought seasons. It won’t let me update it and keeps saying Internet Connection error..
Please help!

This is a known issue for Mac. Visit the Sims Mac forum to read about it.

@juliadunavant, what version of the Mac OS are you currently running? If you are running anything lower than El Capitan, you need to try to update to either El Capitan or High Sierra. There is a thread here in the Mac section that details all of this. 

 

EA/Maxis is aware of the issue and is working to fix it. A patch should be out soon.
