Purple Square appearing on the top left of my Mt. Komorebi world screen

A purple square has suddenly appeared on the top left of my screen, although it does not affect my game it is irritating to see that every time I am in the Mt. Komorebi world. 

I am currently playing the sims 4 on Mac.

Can you provide a screenshot?
