Hi! I'm having the same error but I do have an installer data directory in ~/Library/Application Support/Origin. Have you checked the Library directory in your home directory instead of at the root drive level?

currently I'm trying the last step and there is no Installer Data file in Application Support > Origin, how do I create a new Installer Data file?

@xMissLynn and @NaturallySimi  You literally create a new folder and name it Installer Data.  There's a dropdown menu you can click in a Finder window to see available actions, e.g. New Folder or Open in New Tab.

Out of these 5 items you've listed I have two of them, 72090 is the Monarch Suites Set and 70233 is the No Tricks, Just Treats set.

21889 is Pin-up Pretty female hair

19074 is the Comfortable and Comfort Skirt

18779 is the Bridgette Skirt

The two sets I have install fine. Can you please move the Sims 3 folder to the desktop, launch to create a new one then quit, then try to install either 72090 or 70233. Installing Store content is still extremely buggy, just like with the 32-bit version. It's taken me hours to install all my Store stuff but I have managed all 35 pages of it (I had to follow my own guide it's been that long!).

I vaguely remember getting the same error as you when I first installed the game and then some Store stuff. Can't remember which item it was but pulling the TS3 folder and then starting again fixed it.

@Bluebellflora When the guide says Firefox, does the Firefox Developer Edition count or should I use the regular version of Firefox?

I'm always really precise in my guides Normal one is fine. I actually used Safari for this one and it worked.
