Prevent Originl from reinstalling Sims 4 game/stuff packs

I reinstalled the Sims 4 on my Mac with the intention of not installing some of the game and stuff packs I already own on it. I want my laptop to run the game smoothly and don't want installed some of the packs I haven't been using so much.

The problem is that Origin starts downloading them automatically whenever I login.

What's the best way to make sure I have only the packs I want on the computer and none of the others?

Moved your post to the Mac forum

In Origin click on your avatar, bottom left corner of the window then Application Settings > Application and disable Automatic Game Updates.
