Please press allow when windows prompts for download , but no window pops up

I downloaded origin about 3 weeks ago and bought sims 4. The app launches no problem but when I go to download sims it says , 'your download has been paused.Origin needs access to download the files, Please choose allow when windows prompts you' but no windows prompts me I have been trying to fix this for about 3 weeks now , I have been in several ea live chats and they all seem to be telling me to do the same thing even though I have been very clear I have tried the suggestions numerous amounts of times. I have tried wiping origin from my laptop and downloading it again nothing works. I am on Mac Big Sur , please can anyone help me I just wanna play the game I spent money on.
