Pixelated save file

One of my save files for my game stopped working with the update. It has worked previously but now it is pixelated and I can see the loading screen still in the background even when the game loads. I have a MacBook Air and I use cc but even after removing everything the save file is still pixelated.  Would there be any way to save the save file? It’s for a LP on my YouTube channel.
