Origin won’t launch?

I used to play sims on my Mac all the the time but I closed out of it a day ago and now it won’t even open the origin app, I’ve tried doing the reset for origin and logged off and tried reinstalling it and nothing seems to work. I’ve also tried the proxy and firewall settings. When I download origin it starts to open but gets stuck a White page before it even lets me log in. Please help!
