Origin won't launch

I try to open it, it bounces once and then appears as though I've never touched it.  

I have tried the solutions on: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/ and nothing has happened.

I am attempting to play Sims 4 if that makes any difference.
