Origin and The Sims 4 both won't load/open. 

I cleared cache on both. Origin has been stuck on the loading screen for 3 hours.

Sims 4 just doesn't do anything. I removed my mods, cache folder, and localthumbcache, nothing.

I just bought a stuff pack. I really want to be able to play it...

I would start with disabling proxies.

When you say they won't open, what exactly is happening? Are the apps bouncing in the Dock then closing? Are you getting any error messages? The game needs Origin running first before loading so the issue is most likely Origin. Please run the Origin reset tool then try again. There are more than just cache files that need trashing.

When I open Origin, it's stuck like this:

And when I click The Sims 4 on my doc, it shows the dot indicating its open for a split second then disappears. I've always had Origin on while on my computer, I barely close it. I reinstalled origin completely and cleared my cache, but it won't budge.

How did you "clear the cache"?

Before I asked this question I used "App Cleaner & Uninstaller" to completely uninstall and redownload Origin. I couldn't find most of the files in the guide so I didn't do it. Origin still refuses to load, so the Sims won't either.
