Origin Not Downloading My Sims 4 DLC (Mac)

Origin is not downloading my Sims 4 dlc content.  I bought some expansion packs last year and when I play the game they are never in the game.  When I check the download manager, they never download. Whenever I click on the files, they just do nothing and never download. I tried going into "Safe mode" and it didn't allow me to download the files.    I have plenty of space on my computer and my computer can play the game as I have for years, but the DLC never downloads no matter how many times I click it too. What do I do?

Can you run the Origin reset tool to see if that fixes it - https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/

@Bluebellflora Already tried that.  It did not work.  My game and system isn't crashing either.  It's just not downloading the games for over a half year now.
