Origin Login not workings for The Sims 3

The launcher is saying that login is unavailable right now. I know the email and password are correct because I logged on to here. All permissions have been granted for the Sims 3 to be played. What can I do to fix this, my daughter is having a meltdown and I've tried everything to fix it. Please help me so I can help her, she's 7 and just started understanding how to play and build.
