No saves file in mac documents

My Sims 4 has not been saving any of my games. So I am trying to delete the corrupt saves file in the sims 4 folder in my Mac as it has been recommended to do. However I can't find the saves file in the folder. 

Please help

So after a couple of weeks of not playing Sims 4, I decided to return back for a little while. I updated the game and when I pressed "play" it crashed a couple of times. When I pressed the repair button, the game was eventually fixed and I could play it. However, upon playing the game, I realized that I had lost all my progress. I clearly remember saving the last time I played, but now, all my progress is lost. I tried going back to saved household, but there was nothing there. Is there any way I could get the progress I had lost before updating the game?
