@puzzlezaddict hello sorry for taking a while to respond but i was looking at the first windows download option and during part of it it says to change the format of my hard drive to (Format: MS-DOS (FAT)). Would that format effect me from be ibex able to run my sims 4 as well on there. The current format of my hard drive is Mac OS Extended (Journaled) which works for my sims 4

@elizabeth211995  Yes, it would affect Sims 4, both because formatting a hard drive would erase it and that Sims 4 wouldn't run off a drive in that format.  But if you partition the drive first, using Disk Utility, you can reformat one partition while not touching the other(s).  Make sure you're leaving enough space for Windows 10 and Sims 3, plus your user data, in the one partition, while leaving enough for Sims 4 to get bigger on the other partition, and you should be fine.
