Thank you, had the same error on the same model of MacBook and found your fix when I searched for a solution. Worked perfectly 😊

Hey y'all.
I was having this same issue and was SO excited to find this solution.
I was able to add in that text to the graphicscards.sgr file, and that solved the issue of my graphics card not being recognized.
However, after disabling iCloud Drive/Sync, I'm still having the issue of my game crashing whenever I create a family and move them into a lot. I know Miloev's issued was solved along with a few others, but unfortunately this did not solve the issue for me
Does anyone have any other thoughts on how to fix this?? Much MUCH appreciated.

Hmmm, give starting up in safe mode a go - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262
You could also try resetting Origin - https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/
