My saves are gone

Hi,

I was about to buy Eco Lifestyle, but wanted to open my game first. To my surprise when I opened The Sims 4 all my saves were gone and I was only able too start a new game. I checked my saves folder and everything was still there. Is this a problem caused by the new patch? I will go real crazy if I lose my saves, a lot of time and work has gone into those... Are any other Mac users having this issue? Good thing I hadn't bought the new expansion yet...
