My game keeps redownloading itself

I have had Sims 4 on my mac for over a year now and have played it before, now every time I try to open origin it starts downloading the game and all expansion packs again. The file is still present in my Applications but I can't open it and the location in settings is set to that file. Can anyone please help?

Please run the Origin reset tool then try again.
