Build Mode Lagging

The file came back and right away my game started ok and then started lagging again on the second floor of the house im making ^^'

Yes, it is recreated when you reload if the game cannot find one in that folder. Have you changed the graphics options settings in-game again? Enable laptop mode and see if that helps.

these are my settings for my game

Sims- Very High

Objects- Medium

Lighting- Medium

Reflections- Low

Visual Effects- Medium

Edge Smoothing- Off

3D Scene Resolution- High

View Distance- Low

It's still lagging really bad whenever I go to the second floor, like serious lag

That would indicate that you may have an object with a seriously high poly count on the second floor, or a Sim up there with high poly hair/accessories/clothes. Do you have Sims 4 Studio installed? You could see the poly count of objects using it. If you can tell me the CC you have on that floor I can look it up.

I do not. Would it work on my MacBook pro? Im still kinda learning how to actual use it haha. Where can I download sims studio?

That's the thing I don't have CC on that floor. I was making a new house, I just started putting floors in and wallpaper up

You'll need to google Sims4Studio then you'll find it

Was it just Maxis floors and wallpaper, not CC? I'd be happy to test your save if you upload it.

I believe so yes and it's just lagging super bad. If you wish I wouldn't mind it how do I upload it?

there's a problem. I can't access to the Mac version of the sims studio

You have to register on the Sims4Studio site and then you will be able to access the download.
