Game won't load/black screen appears after loading screen

Hi everyone!
I was playing the sims earlier today and noticed it was running a bit slow. This was a previous problem I had that I solved by uninstalling a few expansion packs I rarely used. I did this today, uninstalled sims 4, and installed it once more excluding a few packs. I went to start up the game, and it seemed okay- the origin window closed and it appeared as if sims would open, but the origin window popped up again and the sims did not open. 

I have 0 CCs.

I have tried:

- Uninstalling origin 

- Clearing Origin's cache 

- Repairing the Sims 4 through Origin

My mac is up to date, my Sims is up to date, and my Origin is up to date.

I don't know what to do, the game was fine this afternoon.

Yes, the sims have been running just fine since I got the laptop.

My sims won’t open idk what to do I have NO mods NO cc I deleted any cache I can find I’ve restarted my laptop multiple times, updated it, even deleted and redownloaded sims. I don’t know what to do 😭

That literally just happened to me. I watched so many Youtube videos and none of them worked.

I don't know if this will work for you but all I did was delete Origin off my laptop, then I reinstalled it and signed in to my account. After, I just clicked play on The Sims and it opened.
