My Sims 4 game won't open

This is super old now but just wanted to say youre a lifesaver, been trying all this crazy stuff to fix my game and after moving it to my desktop it booted up immediately!

I did lost my saves but I wouldn’t be surprised if the files were corrupted from my cc haha, thank you sooooo much for this omg

I moved my Sims 4 folder onto my desktop, and sims is working but everything is gone. How do I get everything back? I tried moving my folder back to my ea folder and reopened it, but now when I open Sims it is like I just downloaded it.

All your saves etc. are in the Sims 4 folder you moved to the desktop. Check the file path you moved the folder back to:

User > Documents > Electronic Arts

 I have tried everything on here and my mouse when I click on the game just does the annoying spinny thing and then just stops and nothing happens and origin also wont load in either I have taken all of my cc out and still wont work I have a ton of space PLS HELP ME I HAVE SPENT 100s OF DOLLARS I WOULD LIKE TO PLAY THE GAME THAT I PAID FOR

Please run the Origin reset tool, move your Sims 4 folder to the desktop and launch the game - does it work? If so it should be like new as all your saves are in the folder you moved. Let us know how you get on

Did you try turning it off then on again? 

Haha this is a joke. But I’m having the same problem and I took out my mods and all then that didn’t work so I put them back and decided to organize them but that isn’t important.
