My Sims 4 Game saves are empty on my iMac.

★★ Novice

I am currently playing my Sims4 on the IMAC (desktop). I downloaded origins and sims 4 onto my MacBook (laptop). I wanted to transfer my saved game from my desktop to the laptop but when I go into my saved games in the desktop the "saves" folder is completely empty. When I open sims 4 on my desktop I see my saved game and I'm able to play it. I just need to know how to transfer the saved progress to my laptop. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

Yes Standard smile Copy them to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves on your MacBook.

I checked my iCloud settings and the box is unchecked. When I log into my game on the desktop its there and perfectly fine. I just want to be able to transfer it to another computer. When I go into my saves folder on the desktop, it's still empty.

When I go into my saves folder on the desktop, it's still empty. - Could you clarify, are you referring to your iMac as a desktop or the desktop on one of your Macs?

But your game is loading saves ok? Could you load the game to the main menu, click Load Game then hover your mouse over one of the households and make a note of the file path it shows, that's where your saves are.

You're welcome Standard smile

I split your post into a separate thread as your issue ended up being pretty specific!
