My MacBook Pro keeps restarting when I try and play the sims 4. The sims isn't crashing but the whole computer shuts down and turns back on.
Sometimes I can play for a bit and other times I can't get it to load.
It is basically a brand new laptop (just had a new hard drive put in due to a Mac problem). This is an issue I was having before hand though just not as frequently. I have tried a list of things and it still doesn't seem to be working.
It is currently running Catalina.
Things tried
- re installing origin
- re in stalling the sims4 (I just did base game at first but it still didn't work)
- there are no mods
- I turned off iCloud
- reset the PRAM

How do I disable origin in game?
At this point I'm struggling to keep the game open long enough to get into the options :-/

I googled how to disable origin and did that.
That was not the issue. I was able to get it going for about 10 minutes though.
