Mouse moving to the left when I move it right

In create-a-sim when I am trying to rotate my camera to the left slowly it instead rotates to the right? I have an external mouse but it also does the same thing with my mousepad built into my MacBook. The Sims is the only program it does this on so I don't think it's my computer. Is there a way to recalibrate my mouse or something like that so this stops happening?
