Hi! If I get the MacBook Air and upgrade it – 2.2GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz and 8GB RAM – will the Sims 4 (or 3) run ok? I don't need it to be as smooth as possible, but reasonable...

The Sims 3 probably won't work. The Sims 4 should on low settings. Bear in mind that MacBook Airs really aren't designed for gaming as they're not particularly powerful.
