[MAC] Traveling Issue

I can make it to the destination but when I try to return home, it completely crashes and occasionally will crash soon after I make it to the destination. I've tried with some mods, no mods and it's not the mods. I didn't have this issue until I bought Get Together. There have only been a couple times when it hasn't crashed when I'm traveling back to my sim's home. I've tried to seek out others with this issue but I haven't found one for a Mac. Thanks in advance!

Your NVIDIA card has 512Mb VRAM? If so it is one of the ones that EA have yet to fully support in El Capitan. El Capitan Verson 10.11.4
2012 15" Macbook Pro
2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M

I am not running any antivirus and I have tried to repair the game but to no avail. I've also tried playing on lower graphics settings and that didn't seem to make any difference either. I also recently reinstalled the game but I did put back my tray files after reinstalling.
