@OmaddieO  I've split your comment into its own thread because the original one you posted in was several years old (even if it did have more recent comments), and getting TS3 up and running in mac OS has become more complicated since then.

If you've uninstalled and reinstalled at any point, it's best to start with a clean uninstall.  Otherwise, the hidden library files from the previous install can prevent you from launching the game.
