(MAC) Sims 3 Update Avaible but not allowing me to update? HELP

Hello!

So recently I had a problem trouble shooting my Sims 3 on my mac. Finally after many long hours my Sims 3 has finally been restored only to tell me there is an update needed to play. I try to update but it doesn't allow me too. I took some screen shots that will be seen below, of what it looks like on my computer. Help is much needed, please and thank you!

Do you see how the 'update' button is gray? Yes, that is what I'm unable to click to update my system.
