M1 Mac: Freeze on Quit?

Got my M1 MBP today (YAY!) and TS4 is amazing on it (best fps and graphics performance I've ever had). Sound popping is happening for me but it looks like the devs are on it. My game saves fine, but freezes up every time I quit; I have to force quit the app. Any suggestions?

I just posted a similar question as i can save as well but when exiting it freezes and have to force quit

I turned on vsync and still have freezing issues when exiting

Does this happen with new and existing saves?

i haven’t built any new families just existing ones

Try a new save please and see if it happens.

This happens regardless of the sync settings. Save files have nothing to do with it. This is happening from the main menu when I "exit." Gotta Force Quit every single time.

Have you tested a new clean Sims 4 folder?

Have you repaired the game?
