Login credentials expired {Macbook Air}

★★★ Novice

When I login my origin account, it opens up to the store page and then logs out and states that my login credentials have expired. Help. This is all on the macbook air and I haven't played Sims in a year because of this issue.

@ItsCarol_05  Are you playing TS3 or TS4?  TS3 doesn't need Origin open on macs; you can just launch from the alias in your Applications folder.

For TS4, the first thing to try is to reset your password, either within Origin (if it will let you) or some other EA site.  You can also run the Origin reset tool for macs, and if that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall Origin entirely.

One other thing to do that may or may not help is to pull your entire TS4 folder out of Documents and try again.  If you do successfully launch the game, a new folder will be spawned with no content.  You can then move over your saves and other content from your old folder to your new one.

There's always a chance that something is wrong with your account from EA's side.  You would have to contact EA customer support to find out, as nobody here can access your account data.

I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow players with their games.
