Journey to batuu not working

So I bought it and went through hoops trying to figure out why it's not working, there's no mods or anything to screw that up. When you click on travel and go to click on batuu, there's no word by the world, then you get stuck on a white screen after you select batuu. I tried asking ea on here but I just get redirected back to here since they just want you to pay for all their dlcs but not stand behind them when they're trash. Any help would be great.

This happened at launch due to the TOOL Mod needing updating.

Move your Sims 4 folder to the desktop then launch a new clean game to see if it still happens.
