Information for Mac users running macOS Lion (10.7)

Is origin not setup so that you can target specific OS'?

The idea that some people's games will be bricked and their only notice is a forum post that many players aren't even a part of seems odd to me. Would be much better to just cease updates for Lion than sending out a bad update.

The use of gallery without need update is an exception made for mac users due this patch?

Or always also for PC was possible use gallery without last patch?

In fact, instead suggest disable auto-updates, would be  a good time for the debut of The Sims 4 Legacy Edition, than will support Lion and have no newer updates

Good point!

They can upgrade their OS and get playing again. If they can’t it’s because they have a 10/11 year old machine which won’t meet minimum requirements anyway.

As clearly stated in the opening post, and in a few others in this thread, it ONLY affects 10.7 Lion users. You are running 10.12 Sierra which is not 10.7 Lion.

Is there going to be a fix within the sims that will allow us to continue playing the game and packs in the future?
