I cant find my previously saved sims 4 family

I want to talk about something you don't mention above: I created a family and home...but every time i start the game up it has be make a completely new family!
How accessible is the current experience? It's useless to me
Summarize what in the product is difficult to use. I can't play my previously played family
How is this making it more difficult? I can't play the family i want to play!!
How can we reproduce this experience? ..

@stefgracie  It sounds like you may have iCloud enabled, and your TS4 game folders (where your save files are located) keep getting moved to cloud storage.  When the game can't find this folder, it creates a new one from scratch. 

You can retrieve your game folders from your iCloud drive—open a Finder window and click on iCloud on the left to see its contents.  Then you'll need to either disable iCloud entirely or change your settings to disallow automatic uploads.  Here's a visual, if it helps:
