I can't open my sims 3 on mac

I bought sims 3  on origin last night and i finished all the downloading and product code

I successfully open the main menu, but when i click the start button, it froze...

If so please follow the instructions for editing the relevant game files to get the game to recognise your Mac's graphics card.
