I Installed the sims 3 and... [ Edited ]

I had already installed the sims 3 on my Mac but when I tried to open it I had a sign that said An Unknown Error and also my folder of the sims 3 is empty so I can find the way to install it again but I couldn't because On my folder once told me uninstall or reset  but in Spanish because I have it in Spanish the game. And I can´t do it.

What can I do?

Which Sims 3 folder is empty? The one in your Applications folder or the one in your Documents > Electronic Arts folder?
