@potpotchie How much free storage space do you have on your computer? You can find out by clicking on the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your screen, selecting About This Mac, and clicking the storage tab.
You can try running the Origin reset tool for macs, which might help get things unstuck:

By the way, your computer may meet the requirements for the base game, but it's unlikely that it will be able to run Seasons at high settings, if at all. Macbook Airs are not gaming computers—they have less powerful hardware and inadequate cooling. Depending on your specs, you may be able to run the EP at lower settings, but you'll need to be careful not to overstress your mac.
