Game unplayable after downloading Vampires DLC [ Edited ]

So before I downloaded the Vampires DLC the Sims 4 would run fine. After downloading it seemed to be fine until i went into play mode and even build mode. Images were extremely distorted, and cover the screen and just tons of flashing colours. I play on a man with Origins so I've tried to repair the game, uninstall, and reinstall with no results. still the same issues happen. I'm not sure how to fix this anymore.

Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.

I have a Mac & play the sims 4 through Origins and the link doesnt have a option for mac's. I also did have CC before downloading the DLC but removed it to see if it would fix the glitches but the same thing happened.

@iGorillaz Instead of doing the dxdiag, which is only for Windows users, could you share with us your Mac's specifications? Thanks for that information! Could you use the 'Software update...' button in there to make sure your graphics drivers and your system are up to date?

You're running a version of macOS from 2013. Can you update to 10.12 Sierra? A later version of macOS will have upgraded video drivers so may help.

If you play in windowed mode do the graphics glitch on the whole display or just the game window?

If you drag the Options.ini file from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 to your desktop then launch the game does it still happen?
