Game installation directory invalid

Hi, so i just bought the Sims 4 on Origin on my mac. When i click download, i get a pop up saying "game installation directory invalid, please select another directory" how do i change it and what do i change it to?

Preferences is the equivalent of Application Settings on a Mac

The game should be installing to your Applications folder, you can check and change this in the Origin Preferences as @EA_Kristi has mentioned.

I do believe you need to change the game installation directory in Application Settings - Advanced (Origin menu in top left corner of the client). @Bluebellflora Can correct me if I am wrong
