Failed to load - error 102:a0adad34:cb5b3c9c [ Edited ]

Hi all,

I'm able to create a sim/family, pick a lot/house in TS4 but I can't play it. New families, old families, townies, basically all the households are unplayable. I keep getting the message "The game failed to load. Error Code: 102:a0adad34:cb6b3c9c.  It is recommended that you relaunch the game" I'll post a screenshot below.

My game is fully updated. I've tried uninstalling and relaunching the game a few times as well as repaired it, but none of these seem to work. 

Other people who have had a 102 error code have said that deleting CC/Mods help - but I don't have any downloaded. Is there anything I can do?

Do you have a lastCrash file in the Sims 4 folder? Have you tried a new Sims 4 folder? https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting...
